Barilliance supports two types of count down timers. A simple flat timer and 'flip' style timer.
A flat counter might look like this:

A flip style counter includes animation of flipping digits and might look like this:

Setting up a Flat Timer

Integrating the timer in the content

To set up a flat timer use the letter pairs DD HH MM SS in your content. They will be replaced by the digits when the messagebar/popup is displayed.

Timer Settings

In the rule 'Content' section, select 'Flat' in Timer type and enter the time to count to.
You can specify specific time or time since the rule first activation.

Setting up a Flip Timer

Integrating the timer in the content

A flip timer is added to the content by dragging a 'Dynamic Content' block from the editor into the location in the content you want the flip timer to appear in.

Note that the size of the timer is determined by the container block size. You may want to use multi column row to create a section in the right size for the timer as seen in the picture above.

Timer Settings

In the rule 'Content' section find the timer settings and select 'Flip Timer' as the timer type.

Select the time to run by specifying specific date or time since rule first activation for the user.

You can set the visual properties of the timer as seen above.
