What is Recommendations API
Barilliance product recommendations are designed to be displayed on eCommerce websites. It is now possible to display personal recommendations also in applications.
How it works
In order to implement the API, ask Barilliance Support for the API specification document. This document explains how to obtain access to the API and the specifics of the API calls.
The API sends relevant information to Barilliance platform such as the user id, page type and product id of the viewed/ added to cart/ purchased products as well as clicks and purchases.
The API returns product information of the products to recommend in real time.
Controlling the recommendations algorithm
Each widget is represented by a rule in the Barilliance panel, where you can set the recommendation widget's recommendations algorithm, widget title and additional information such as how many items to show.
In the Barilliance panel, you can also promote products and hide widgets.
